A letter from our Founder

​

Girl Empowerment.Org Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to meeting the needs of inner-city girls between the ages of 10-19

 

Our program solely focuses on inspiring young ladies to become self-empowered entrepreneurs. This program is focus driven where each girl will go through an intensive (10) week training session. Our girls will understand how to embrace her inner spirit, and gain the confidence and skill set to start a business. With my catering business as a business model, at the end of the training session, she will learn how to organize a live event. We will also utilize other business models to help the girls excel in the program she is interested in as a career goal.

With the right tools, mentors, and direction she will be successful in creating and sustaining her own business. She will also learn and understand the importance of bringing economic growth back into the community.

Our goal is to bring influential women to speak to our youth girls, who can make an impact on each person she reaches. Giving hope, courage, and most importantly, a voice to be heard in her community as she becomes a leader.

We as women have a responsibility to our community. Girls need a way out, by breaking down barriers and accomplishing a brighter future by setting a positive example for future generations. 

​

Our girls are in constant need of food, clothing, computers, school supplies, transportation vouchers, plus much more. We appreciate donations, volunteers, and support.
